I volunteer at a farmed animal sanctuary and am creating t-shirts with edgy vegan themes (many of them turning the tables). I would be selling the shirts and giving the entire profit to the sanctuary. I love many of the cartoons you are showing here and you responded “Google the tag” on another comment. I don’t know what that means. I would like to use some of these cartoons but couldn’t pay a royalty so that I could keep keep the cost of the shirts down so that they would sell. Can you advise me on this? Also, if any of the above cartoons does NOT have a signature, then can I use it for my purposes? Thank you, Carol

Hi Carol, by the tag I meant the artist’s tag (signature), if it is on the art. You would need to find the artist. I linked a Facebook page in a previous comment. Some of the artists may belong to the Art for Compassion project, so try searching here: https://artofcompassionproject.com/

Peter, Are there copyrights on these? probabaly. do you know how to contact the illustrators, as

Hi Rachel, I’m guessing they are all subject to copyright. A few have artist tags on them, so perhaps Google the tag and see what you can find. I also found this Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/artforvegan/ I think you might find some of the artists there. Best of luck with the book!
